Leadership Reimagined: How to Effectively Lead Yourself and Others
While effective leadership involves inspiring others to follow, the most effective leaders have learned that it is critical to lead one’s self first.
As Maine's premiere volunteer organization for women, The Junior League of Portland, Maine is excited to host this workshop in support of our mission to develop the potential of women. This workshop is open to women in the Portland community who are not currently members of the League, too.
Member rate is $15; Non-member rate is $25 (Breakfast included). Kindly register by Thursday, April 2.
All proceeds will be donated to the League's longtime community partner, The Center for Grieving Children.
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
This workshop will have two parts. The first part will focus on the behaviors that develop a leaders strength internally, using the POWER model. The second part will identify the behaviors that will inspire others to follow your lead, using the CABLES blueprint. While both parts are rooted in research they are designed for the real world that today’s leaders face. Participants will leave with actionable approaches they can employ immediately.
ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:
Patrick Veroneau, MS (Organizational Leadership)
Patrick is the president of Emery Leadership Group. He works with individuals, teams and organizations to identify and develop the behaviors that will inspire followers. His graduate work focused on how behaviors of those in leadership and management impacted the engagement and motivation of individuals, teams organizations.
Based on that research he has developed leadership blueprints such as, COACHED, GREAT and CABLES, to assist leaders and sales representatives to “Lead Like No Other."
